The American Heart Association recommends five servings of fruits and vegetables every day, 30 minutes of moderate exercise 5 days a week, refraining from using all tobacco and nicotine products, and limiting alcohol consumption. Know the recommended blood sugar and cholesterol levels, get your annual lab work and maintain a healthy weight and blood pressure. You have the power to prevent Heart disease & stroke!”

Please visit our website at to learn more. We are ready to assist you in staying heart healthy. Call Pondera Medical Center to schedule an evaluation with a healthcare provider. If you or a loved one has had a heart event, it is important to begin cardiac rehabilitation as soon as possible.
